In the previous Module we used the indefinite integral to create, for example, a total cost function given a marginal cost function. In this Module we will learn how to find the total cost amount over a defined period of time based on a marginal cost function. From a graphical point of view, this amount is the same as the area under the curve and above the x-axis. We will first learn how to use a Riemann Sum to estimate this area.
Connect the graphical behavior, numerical patterns and symbolic representations of function and derivatives.
